About Mig

Some of the strongest things in nature are also the most gentle.

Seaweed bends with the tide instead of resisting it. Stones are slowly shaped by water, pressure, and time. They adapt, they hold memory, and they tell stories without saying a word.

I'm drawn to these quiet transformations because they remind me of people. We, too, are shaped by our surroundings, our experiences, and the passage of time. That connection between nature and humanity is at the heart of my work. Through textiles, knitting, tailoring and thoughtful construction, I translate these ideas into garments that feel both functional and deeply personal.

I design with emotion first. I'm interested in how a garment can make someone feel, comfortable, confident, protected, or understood. Fashion, for me, is more than creating beautiful clothes: it's about creating pieces that carry meaning. My craftsmanship allows me to explore texture, structure and movement while creating clothing that adapts to the body and the person wearing it.

. Growing up in Iceland, surrounded by dramatic landscapes, I developed a deep appreciation for natural textures and materials. My curiosity for biology, geology, and poetry continues to shape my creative process, inspiring me to explore the space where science and emotion meet.
